Marysville-Pilchuck High School

Marysville-Pilchuck High School - Marysville, WA
Senior high school serving grades 9-12.

Located in Marysville and built in 1971, this project included construction of a new Food Commons cafeteria for the students.  The 16,382-square-foot building will support two daily lunch periods during the school year, and features a central kitchen as well as a DECA marketing classroom, student store and ASB offices.  In addition, the cafeteria was built to follow Washington Sustainable Schools Protocol; the building maximizes use of natural light and is equipped with LED lighting. It's also designed to reduce energy consumption by 15 percent and water use by 25 percent. For the Marysville-Pilchuck High School project, BEE performed air barrier testing as well as surface area calculations for the project.
