BEE provides a comprehensive range of services dedicated to designing, inspecting, and testing buildings with a specific focus on weatherization and air barrier, energy efficiency and sustainability, and code and program compliance. From design and throughout construction and close-out, we provide architects and developers with full-package consulting services on all building types, ranging from municipal and educational to commercial and residential. We also provide third party verification services for programs such as Built Green, Energy Star, and HERS (Home Energy Rating System).

To accomplish our work, we employ a highly qualified, inquisitive team of licensed professional engineers, consultants, fenestration and air barrier test technicians, CAD design drafters, and field inspectors. Our team is passionate about the work we do—our collective dedication is to provide excellent work grounded in practices that result in buildings that perform as expected using energy as efficiently as possible.

As the firm has grown and evolved, so has our name. What began as BEE Consulting (Building Envelope Engineering) has transformed into BEE Engineers (Building Envelope & Energy). This subtle but important shift in our name reflects our intentional growth into a firm that provides comprehensive building performance services. It also honors and celebrates our staff’s broad areas of expertise.
