NFRC Simulations
BEE is accredited by the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) making us an NFRC-Accredited Simulation Laboratory. Our NFRC thermal performance ratings are specified by the International Code Council (ICC), including the residential, energy conservation, and building codes. NFRC ratings and certification are also used to demonstrate compliance with the ENERGY STAR Windows Program. Our clients include both manufacturers and commercial builders.
Manufacturers
We help commercial and residential window, door, and skylight manufacturers by supplying the necessary U-factor, SHGC, VT, and CR ratings for product certification, energy performance ratings, building energy code compliance, and voluntary programs like Energy Star. BEE has also helped numerous manufacturers ensure that new products incorporate design details that meet ever-increasing performance goals as well as code compliance and certification.
Commercial Builders
Using CMAST simulation software, we also help builders get project ratings quickly and efficiently with NFRC’s Component Modeling Approach (CMA).
