Amanda Lo, RA

Energy Consultant

Ms. Lo joined BEE Engineers in February of 2024 and currently serves as an Energy Consultant.   In this role, Ms. Lo provides commercial and residential building energy envelope analysis, coordinates with project teams to ensure energy code compliance, facilitates Phius certifications, and works with clients and utilities to achieve energy efficiency incentives.

Ms. Lo currently volunteers as a member of the AIA 2030 Working Group, which helps support the AIA 2030 Commitment and its goal for buildings to reach carbon neutrality by 2030.

Prior to Ms. Lo’s employment at BEE, worked as an architect in both Seattle and Chicago. Over the course of her career, she has developed K-12 and higher education, multifamily, and institutional projects from early programming through the construction phase. She has always been a proponent of an early integrated design process to produce holistic, energy efficient, and sustainable projects. Over the past few years, her focus has been primarily in the technical design aspects of architecture and building science, which inspired her to transition from architecture to consulting.
