Brian Smith, CDT

Mr. Smith joined the team at BEE Engineers in July of 2018 as a Project Inspector. He served as a field inspector in regards to the details of building envelope waterproofing. His attention to detail and dedication to getting answers is a strong asset to the envelope inspection role. Mr. Smith fulfilled an exacting and detailed role as part of BEE’s Field Services Team. In December of 2019, Mr. Smith received his CDT (Construction Documents Technologist) designation and is the company’s primary spec writer.

In January of 2022, Mr. Smith moved into the Design Drafting Department utilizing his drafting skills. He was quickly designated as a Design Drafter in August of that year and later was promoted to Senior Design Drafter in August of 2023.

Prior to BEE Consulting, Mr. Smith worked at Claim Jumper Restaurant as a server providing excellent customer service to the guests by taking their orders, anticipating their needs and making sure they had a great dining experience.

Before that position, Mr. Smith worked at Designer Portrait Studio marketing to clients to provide photography services. He also set-up photo shoots, provided the photography services for the shoots, and did the layout of the photos. Mr. Smith also worked at Two Solutions Studios doing similar duties as well as hiring personnel, videographer, creating work and processing procedures.
