Chris Sheppard

Mr. Sheppard joined BEE Engineers in June of 2023 as a Consultant in our Sustainability Department. In this role, he advises on, inspects, and tests new construction to help the client achieve specific Green Building certifications with their sustainable housing projects.

Prior to his time at BEE, Mr. Sheppard was a Project Specialist with Evergreen Certified. In his capacity as a Project Specialist, Mr. Sheppard was responsible for creating energy models to find energy savings and potential upgrades for projects. In addition, he scheduled site visits, testing, and meetings with builders, advising on strategies to meet sustainable construction goals and requirements. While he was at Evergreen Certified, Mr. Sheppard verified over 50 Built Green projects and managed a portfolio of over 40 active builders.

Before working at Evergreen Certified, Mr. Sheppard was a Freelance Green Retrofit Consultant to identify and benchmark efficiency, waste issues, and determine the best retrofit opportunities. With the goal of decreasing carbon emissions, he worked on a project to decrease the energy usage by 30 percent and shift to renewable power.
